Daniel Seminara is this month’s candidate for the English Student of the Month award due to his outstanding work ethic and participation.
English teacher Mrs. Laura Fucilli nominated Seminara for being “a leader in our English 2 Honors class” and said “he shares insightful literary analysis and answers challenging questions in class on a daily basis.”
Seminara said that he was “very surprised” to receive the award but that he “put in a lot of work and effort” into his classes.
Mrs. Fucilli also said that she “always enjoyed hearing Daniel’s interpretation of the literature as he demonstrates his knowledge and his passion for learning.”
Seminara echoed these statements saying “I’m never afraid to talk or ask questions and I always strive to put effort and perfection in my work.”
The literary scholar also said that the part of English that he enjoys the most is “reading things and being able to interpret what you’ve read into modern life.”
Seminara also enjoys running with the Lakeland track team and can often be found mountain biking.
