Freshman Harper Monego was nominated for Student of the Month by Ms. Keri Sutton for her perseverance in AP World History.
Ms. Sutton shared that Harper “is dedicated and never gives up.”
AP World History is not an easy class, and the content is very dense and difficult, but Harper never gives up and always puts in effort.
Ms. Sutton also said that Harper “spends extra time each A Day reviewing material.”
When asked about why she thinks she received this award, Harper said, “because of my dedication to staying after class for extra help.”
After finding out that she won this award, Harper shared that she was “grateful and in shock!”
Her favorite part of AP world history class is “having such a great teacher and being able to ask good questions and get great answers.”
Fun Facts: Harper plays softball and likes to snowboard during the winter.
