The Student of the Month for business is senior Daniel Kyzima for his strong leadership and his determination to set a positive example in terms of his behavior, work ethic, and high-quality work that he consistently turns in on time.
The Business Department nominated him for the award saying that Danny, “is truly a pleasure to have in our classes.”
On top of this award, he was also inducted into the Lakeland Business Honor Society, competing on Lakeland’s behalf in the University of Delaware Entrepreneurship New Venture Competition.
Kyzima was not expecting this at all and it brought him joy when he heard the news.
He excitedly said, “I feel like $1 million!”
When asked about his dedication to these classes, Danny said that it was because “I set examples for my peers, help as much as I can and I like to think I’m an honorable student.”
His favorite part of business class is that it “makes me use my creativity and I get to think outside the box.”
Kyzima added that he loves trucks, having one of his own, and also said he hopes to open up a business one day.
