The Student of the Month for December is junior Mia Ryan for her performance in Phys Ed class.
She was nominated for this award by Ms. Nicole DeCarlo for “always going above and beyond.”
Ms. DeCarlo said that Ryan always gives “110% and seems to have the best time while doing it.”
Ryan said she was “super surprised” and admitted that she felt amazing after receiving the award. She believes she deserves this award because she tries hard in class. Mia participates in all activities and gives her all in each one.
Her favorite class activity is pickle ball, and outside of gym class, she is a track and field athlete and lacrosse player as well.
