The Student of the Month for December is junior Audrey Hodges for her participation and involvement in English class.
Her teacher, Ms. Melissa Roush, said Hodges is an excellent student who “consistently participates in class, asks probing questions, and listens openly to the thoughts and ideas of others.”
From her teacher’s words, it is evident that she is a dedicated student and that she is always eager to learn more each class.
Hodges was shocked but said she felt great when she received this award. She said she knows she received this award because “I always try my best at everything I do.”
She does not have a favorite part of English class, but humbly admitted she just enjoys being present in the class every day.
Audrey is an avid reader who loves music and is a member of the robotics team here at Lakeland as well.
