Ms. Diane Kearney was nominated for Administrative Assistant of the Month by Special Education Supervisor Ms. Audrey Poggioli for her constant support and reliability. 

Ms. Kearney is always known to be a strong support to the staff and students. Poggioli stated that she is “always willing to jump in and assist with any project or task.”

Others agree that Kearney always has a positive attitude and that she helps create a great atmosphere in the special education office. 

Ms. Poggioli added that “Diane demonstrates unwavering loyalty to Lakeland and always takes pride in the work we do, and she stands by the student and staff.” 

In addition to her amazing presence at LRHS, Ms. Kearny has been a member of the LRHS community for 21 years. She has shown extreme dedication and her climb in positions shows that clearly. Ms. Kearney explained that she “began in 2004 part-time in the cafeteria, then moved to full-time bus driver in 2015. Eventually, in late 2021, I got my favorite position as administrative assistant in the CST Department.” 

She also added that her favorite part of the job is her involvement and work she is doing in CST and said that the “people are the best!”
