Elizabeth Brokenshire was nominated for Student of the Month in art. She was nominated by Ms. Linda Barhydt for her excellence and dedication in art. Despite any challenges that may come her way, Brokenshire is always able to persevere and accomplish great things through art.
Ms. Barhydt said Brokenshire is “remarkably talented and a vital part of the morning show.”
Brokenshire expresses her feelings of “accomplishment and satisfaction” towards winning this award. She is an extremely talented student in the art field and she loves expressing herself through art. She wishes to improve her skills and see the progress of her art work.
She truly believes that she won this award due to her ability in art and how well she is able to “properly get feelings out onto paper.”
On her own time outside of Lakeland, Brokenshire loves to collect stuffed animals and scatter lots of decor throughout her room. She also shared that her family takes in senior dogs to take care of them for the rest of their lives.
