Senior Kevin Kunz was selected as student of the month for his excellent performance and leadership in the entrepreneurship class in the business department. Kunz was nominated by Mr. Cole Lankford for his academic excellence, kindness, and dedication to our school community. 

Kunz is an involved, dedicated student who participates in DECA and received an SBE certificate advancing to nationals as a first year competitor in the club. 

A few more of his accomplishments and titles include DECA co-president, Debate Club founder, Business Honor Society, and many more clubs and sports.  His involvement in and outside of school stands out to his teachers and classmates and sets the bar high for others to follow. 

Kevin said he is “feeling incredibly grateful and wants to thank all the teachers that made me the student I am today.” He feels that he received his award for his “dedication to assignments and tests, and always going above and beyond.” 

Kunz’s favorite part of the class is “expanding knowledge in a unique way, and pushing myself to learn in a way I’ve never learned before.” 

Some fun facts Kunz shared is that he has joined over 10 clubs in LRHS, and his favorite animal is a panda!
