Dakota Gallagher is a September Student of the Month for history.
Nominated by her U.S. History 2 teacher, Mr. Joseph Placenti, Gallagher is said to be excelling in the class through her “preparedness and engagement.” Mr. Placenti writes, “Dakota exemplifies positive growth and has expended her academic interest and dedication to her goals over the past several years.”
Gallagher, junior, could not agree more. She shares with the Ledger that she has been working really hard and putting her best foot forward this year. She said that being a Student of the Month is rewarding. She also told the Ledger that Mr. Placenti is a great teacher because he is understanding and listens.
Fun fact: Gallagher wants to be a veterinarian. She loves animals so much that her car is cow print!
