Even though they are ranked as the No. 1 seed, the Eagles are not our pick as NFC conference champs.

The NFL conference championship games will take place this weekend on Sunday, January 29 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m with both conference games having good contenders fighting for a shot at the Super Bowl LVII.

In the NFC, No. 1 seed the Philadelphia Eagles will play the No. 2 seed the San Francisco 49ers, and in the AFC the No. 4 seed the Cincinnati Bengals will play the No. 1 seed the Kansas City Chiefs.

With the favorite to win the conference championship game in the NFC being the Philadelphia Eagles, but only by a close margin, there will be a good playoff game coming our way. With the Eagles coming off a blowout win beating the New York Giants 38-7, people say the Eagles have a big chance of winning against the 49ers. However, the 49ers are coming off a close game win against the Dallas Cowboys, 19-12, and might ride that high.

NFC Prediction: San Francisco 49ers 23-20 Philadelphia Eagles

With the Kansas City Chiefs having MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes and the Cincinnati Bengals having young superstar Joe Burrow leading the team, both teams in the AFC are expected to give fans a great game. Going into the conference championship, the Chiefs are ranked as the No 1. seed; however, with both teams having strong QBs and power house offenses, the game might come down to the defense, which might put the odds in the Bengals favor.

AFC Prediction: Cincinnati Bengals 17-14 Kansas City Chiefs
