LRHS IT department gurus Mr. Kel Pilshaw and Mr. David Bochkay were nominated as Staff Members of the Month by their administrator Ms. Dianna Angelli for their hard work and dedication to the school’s technological needs. 

Ms. Angelli shared that Mr. Pilshaw and Mr. Bochkay always “go above and beyond to ensure that our technology systems run smoothly and efficiently.” 

She also mentioned that they approach all tasks with, “professionalism, patience, and a commitment to excellence.” 

Another thing she shared was that they make a “tremendous impact on both staff and students.” 

These two really are a pair, with Ms. Angelli saying they “embody the spirit of collaboration.” 

Her closing words were that, “Their hard work deserves to be recognized and celebrated.” 

After hearing that he won the award, Mr. Bochkay said that he feels good after winning and he was surprised because “folks don’t tend to notice I.T until disaster strikes.” 

Mr. Bochkay and Mr. Pilshaw have worked at LRHS for 23 years and have too many memories to list. Performing and assisting in the LRHS Coffee Houses over the years and working on the all-school musical productions in lighting and sound are some experiences that truly stand out.

Mr. Bochkay shared that his favorite part of working in this department is “solving problems for our staff.” 

Fun Facts: Mr. Bochkay is a flight instructor and an avid guitar player. Mr. Pilshaw plays guitar in a band called Mr. Lovejoy and has played at many local hotspots in the NJ area including wedding venues. He is also an avid Harry Potter fan.
