Sophomore Chase Phillips was nominated for Student of the Month in Spanish by Spanish teacher Mrs. Saco in November for his active participation and for being a well-rounded student and classmate.
According to Mrs. Saco, Philips always has a positive attitude and always applies new concepts quickly. He is a model classmate and a role model for others to follow in class.
Mrs. Saco said Philips “can apply new concepts quickly and appropriately while incorporating previous grammatical and vocabulary elements at the same time.”
“My favorite part of Spanish is doing fun review games before a test or quiz and having Mrs. Saco as a teacher makes the class much more fun,” said Phillips.
Outside of the classroom, Phillips plays volleyball for LRHS. In his spare time, Phillips enjoys hanging out with friends at the lake and playing video games.
