Golf: A Rebuilding Year

The golf team worked hard and set goals for the 2019 season.
Lakelands golf team used the 2019 season to improve and grow.
“Coming into the season, we were just looking to defeat most of out rivals this year,” said by team captain and senior Sean Powers. Although the team struggled to meet that goal, they worked hard, had fun, and found areas where they could improve their play.
The seniors acted as team leaders, trying to find ways to improve play throughout the season.
When asked Powers on who were some key players this season, he said, ̈Senior Joshua Sheerin was definitely a key player this season; he was able to stay consistent the whole season.¨ Powers also credits the rest of the seniors (pictured) for leading and finding ways to develop as a team.
