Find out which service gives the most bang for your buck.

Streaming Services provides a lot of content to the viewer. It can stream almost anything with a click of a button. You don’t have to wait until it is scheduled on cable, and if you miss it, you don’t have to wait for the next scheduled showtime. That is where streaming services such as Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime come in.

All of these services provide instant content to the viewer. However, prices vary between types of services, with ads or no ads, and some offer much more content with offers. So, which streaming service is worth it for you?

Netflix

Netflix starting costs is $7.99 a month. If you upgrade to $15.99 a month you get access to more devices for streaming and higher quality. There are no commercials for any memberships. Netflix releases original content and caters to multiple audiences. However, it is losing shows and movies due to companies starting their own streaming services.

Hulu

Hulu starts at $5.99 a month, and there are multiple upgrades. A basic package has commercials, while premium members have no commercials along with more devices to stream. You can bundle Hulu with Starz, Disney Plus, ESPN, and/or Live TV. Hulu has great shows but not as many movies or original content as Netflix.

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime costs $9.00 a month for the streaming service or $100.20 for a year for a full Prime membership. There are no upgrades to this service, but you can buy movies to stream for cheap if they are not included with the streaming service. There is one commercial at the start of each movie/show you stream. Amazon Prime has original content, such as The Boys and The Tick, and like those mentioned before, has great reviews. Although you can watch movies, the service fails to easily tell you what it has available to stream and what you can buy, making their library seem a lot bigger than it really is.

Disney Plus

Disney Plus only costs $6.99 per month or $70.00 year. There is no upgrades and no commercials. You can bundle the service with Hulu and ESPN for $13.99. Disney Plus has big franchises under its belt such as Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and National Geographic. Although it has most of the movies in all of these categories, Netflix and other services still has the license to remaining ones. This will change soon. For example, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Solo still belong to Netflix, but once their license has expired, those movies will return back to Disney and their service. Disney Plus has some original content such as The Mandolorian, and more TV shows will come to the platform next year.

Which service is best?

When it comes to which service you should pay for depends on how much of it you will watch and what you want to see. If you want Star Wars and Marvel content, Disney Plus is the way to go. If you want more original and experimental movies you should purchase Netflix. If you want more variety of hit and current television shows, then Hulu has you covered.

It seems that the most bang for your buck is the bundle of Hulu and Disney Plus. It will save you more money and provide numerous amounts of content.

However, it all boils down to the decision of what you want as a consumer to watch and pay.
