Freshmen Hannah Poggioli was awarded Student of the Month in April for CORE. Ms. Jamie Haftek, her nominating teacher, shares that Poggioli has “made a smooth transition” into Lakeland High School as a new student and has “heavily involved herself” in the school community. Haftek also adds that Poggioli has “worked hard” to adjust and navigate the school and has been blossoming, such as her participation in the school play, Shrek.
