Senior Courtney Molloy was nominated student of the month in English by English teacher Eric White. She was awarded this award for her dedication and all of her hard work. Mr. White stated, “Courtney’s analytical skill is exemplary, and she’s incredibly dedicated and conscientious. She’s a strong writer, and given her numerous emails regarding her Hamlet paper, she really cares about her school work. She’s always attentive in class, and it’s clear that she’s interested in the material. She’s a wonderful student.” Molloy’s reaction upon receiving the news she was very surprised and it felt very surreal for her. Molloy was not expecting to be awarded student of the month at all but especially in her favorite class.
