When the clock struck 0, it wasn’t the game that would be remembered. It was Bad Bunny’s amazing 13-minute halftime show at Super Bowl LX. His show was the most watched Halftime Show in NFL history with about 142 million viewers who eagerly tuned in to witness the cultural celebration that took place on stage.

Bad Bunny’s culturally inclusive show sent a message to viewers about pride in one’s country and reminded us what it feels like to be a part of the Americas. Although people might have initially thought the performance was just mainly Puerto Rican culture, Bad Bunny made sure to include all backgrounds of countries in the Americas, showing that everyone is equal. Overall, this halftime show wasn’t just a show. It was a celebration. It brought culture and included a powerful message echoing throughout the US.
Kacey Musgraves, an American country singer complimented the performance saying, “Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done.”
Others like President Trump were less than enthused about the performance, but regardless of individual opinions, the performance overshadowed the game itself.
Fans were all excited for the game saying Patriots were going to upset the Seahawks, or JSN was going to have a breakout game. All of this anticipated hype for the game was false, as the game turned out to be one of the worst Super Bowl showdowns behind the 2019 Rams vs. Patriots. The first touchdown showed up in the 4th quarter after Jason Myers, Seahawks kicker, put up a historic 12 points, passing Ladainian Tomlinson in most points scored in a NFL season. He should’ve been the real Super Bowl MVP.
Although the Super Bowl wasn’t the most entertaining viewing experience, Chris Pratt, superstar actor, expressed his emotions saying, “What a season! So endlessly proud to be one of the 12s! This team showed such grit and faith through the whole season. It’s gonna be a while before my voice comes back,” Pratt wrote in the caption of his post. “Super Bowl Champions! Nobody can ever take that away from these men. What an awesome experience. Thanks to the whole @seahawks organization for the access! Go hawks!”
With a lot of people commenting about the outcome of the 2026 NFL season’s finale, it was a night to remember for many, with people winning bets or just having a good time with friends and family. In the end, the Super Bowl may crown a champion on the field, but Bad Bunny proved that halftime can steal the show and the hearts of millions.

It’s always been about the concert and the commercials!
