Ms. Kebrdle, pictured with Ms. Cawley, is September’s Staff Member of the Month.

Ms. Patricia Kebrdle, history teacher and coach, is Lakeland Regional High School’s first Staff Member of the Month for September.

Nominated by both Humanities Supervisor Ms. Jamie Cawley and the administration team, they shared that Ms. Kebrdle is an dedicated and adaptable educator who maintains “a high level of instruction and engagement with her students.” Ms. Kebrdle, who has been teaching at LRHS for 28 years, is honored and surprised to receive this award, and shared that she enjoys teacher history because of how much the subject matter can affect student’s lives.

Ms. Kebrdle is also praised for her “commitment to inclusion and her active involvement in school activities.” She said that throughout her career, she has coached field hockey, swim, track, fencing, basketball, and softball. Ms. Kebrdle also currently helps lead our Unified program, which helps bring all students of the LRHS community together. 

Fun fact about Ms. Keb: Her father graduated from LRHS; she graduated from LRHS; and, after her daughter Emily graduates this year, both her children will graduate from LRHS.
