Senior Mackenzie Pregenzer was nominated Student of the Month for video production because of her dedication and involvement in the class. Technology teacher Mr. Jonathan Lauder says, “Mackenzie has been a dedicated member of the video department for all four of her years at Lakeland.” Pregenzer has been included in many Morning Shows over the course of the last 2 years, and has completed and taken part in numerous projects.

Pregenzer expressed how excited she was to be awarded with Student of the Month. She says, “I have been a part of the Video Program for my entire high school career, and to be recognized my senior year for my dedication was very exciting.” Pregenzer further explains how she enjoys the creative freedom the students have in the class and her liking of being included in the Morning Shows. She also claims, “Many students, including myself, love Mr. Lauder as an educator and he will be missed once I leave Lakeland in the 2024 graduation class.”

Though Pregenzer wasn’t expecting to receive this award, she is excited and happy to be recognized for her dedication in the video program.
