The Lancer Ledger is excited to continue into its seventh year of an online edition for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mission Statement

The Lakeland Regional High School newspaper, The Lancer Ledger, serves to inform the students, staff, and community about LRHS news and events. We are committed to maintaining a high level of journalistic integrity in both the writing of articles and sharing of content, and strive to provide factual and relevant news.

The Lancer Ledger allows students to develop creative talents in the area of journalistic writing through printed and electronic publications and to explore careers in the field of journalism.

Staff

The Lancer Ledger is created and maintained by LRHS students in Journalism I, Journalism II-IV and Journalism Club. All students are welcome to join the team. 

Adviser

The journalism teacher and faculty adviser of the Lancer Ledger class is Kali Spoelstra, an English teacher at LRHS.
