Senior Samiksha Athreya is this May’s Student of the Month for math. Athreya was nominated by math teachers Ms. Brielle Fanning, Ms. Kristin Dowling, and Mr. Daniel Thomas. Not only did they describe her as a “model student,” taking all the department’s premium level courses, they praised her outstanding work ethic and “keen mathematical mind.” On getting this award for math, Athreya shared that the subject comes naturally to her and that “getting a sigular correct answer often satisfies me.”
