Senior Hannah Nix was awarded student of the month this month for her outstanding hard work with her cheer team. Awarded by Coach Lauterhahn, she said, “Hannah’s ability to tumble is outstanding and her stunt group has performed very well this season – leading our team to a Big North Conference and National title. She has a very positive attitude and is a great leader.” When asked by the Ledger, Hannah said her favorite part about cheer is, “Being able to work towards all my goals with the best teammates and friends, and having an amazing support system of coaches and parents along the way.” This is Hannah’s 12th year cheerleading, and her first year as a senior captain.
