How to say I love you without saying I love you; the many reasons why you adore that person to remind them everyday how special they are with a 100 Reasons Why I Love You Jar <3.

This upcoming Valentines, you might be tempted to give the annual gift certificate in a “meaningful” card —you better stop right there. Chances are your loved one already knows the deal… and it’s kind of getting boring. Instead, why not switch it up a bit this holiday?

These creative gifts should give you a pretty good idea on what to get that special someone, or someones, and allow them to feel appreciated and loved.

Heart Picture Board
Pictures can be ideal for any holiday, especially this one. Found at any local dollar or craft store, it is easy to purchase a heart shaped frame, board, or cutout. From here, you can attach one or multiple pictures to the board and add Valentine’s day designs and decorations. That person can hang it up anywhere within their home or wherever they would like as a little reminder.

For inspiration, purchase mini heart cutouts and mini string lights. Line the heart with lights using either a glue gun, tacks, or invisible tape. Put the battery box on the back. Additionally, take the cut out hearts and attach them around the photos with a glue gun or glue.

100 Reasons Why I Love You Jar
This type of gift is super easy to do, and so adorable. All you need is a jar and a stack of at least 100 post-its (preferably all different colors). Start writing down everything you admire or love about that person until you have reached your limit. Fold all of the individual post-its and put them all in the jar. Label the jar with some cute designs or a label and you’re done!

A Personalized Playlist
Nothing touches the soul better than music. Instead of making a physical gift, assemble a playlist on your favorite music app with you and the person’s favorite songs. This can be so romantic and perfect for car rides, going out, or just chilling at home. After all, no one can resist a jamming out sesh (or a crying one… you do you).

Picture Collage of Favorite Memories
Look forward to the future… and admire the past. Memories are the best way to remind a person of the good, the bad, the ugly; and overall the moments you both have shared together. Give them a chance to reminisce by creating a book or collage of your favorite photo memories or sentimental belongings. Add cute Valentine’s day decorations… and voila!

Everyone loves homemade desserts, I mean, who could not? (Image by Kris from Pixabay)

Homemade Desserts
Cookies? Brownies? Cake? You name it. Candy and treats are a classic, and perfect, for a Valentine’s day gift. To step it up further, homemade treats are perfect for a simple and quick gift. To dress it up, design the cookies, brownies, etc. with heart shaped cookie cutters, Valentine’s day sprinkles, or your own way of making it lovey-dovey. Additionally, a good idea would be to bring the ingredients with you and make it a special baking moment for yourself and your special person(s).

Movie Basket Full of their Favorite Treats
Everyone loves a good couch day with fan favorite movies. Assembling a cute gift box with popcorn, blankets, favorite snacks, etc. is a cute way of expressing your love. Furthermore, you and that person are able to have a fun movie day this Valentines and cuddle… (maybe just a little too close).

Mood Cards
No one likes feeling down, or any sort of flow of negative emotions. Mood cards are a considerate way to be there for your person, even when you can’t physically be present. Pick moods, for example, happiness, anger, sadness, or maybe just a cute card for when they are missing you. Write on paper what you would want to say to that person in that moment for every emotion. After completing, seal with envelopes and decorate the cards, and you have a perfect at home gift, straight from you.

Bracelets can be a cute way of showing connection between you and your person.

Homemade Jewelry
A bracelet goes a long way. Not specifically a bracelet, but a necklace, ring, anklet, or your own personal choice can be a meaningful gift. Whether you choose to purchase it or make it yourself, everyone can appreciate a piece of jewelry.
