Junior Rolando Sanchez Pena continually proves that life is always better with a smile! Nominated, and awarded, Student of the Month by the LEARN/CORE/STEP program at LRHS, Pena has proven to be a “hard working student all year.” The program explains how he always has such a positive attitude in the classroom, offering to “help his classmates with their work,” bringing such light to their class. He has a wonderful personality, always trying to bring a smile to others’ faces. Pena is “smart, dedicated” and just a fun person to be around, and for these reasons, he is “more than deserving” of his new award.
