The Lancer Locker: Update on a Lakeland Landmark
The Lancer Locker has been open since October, and The Lancer Ledger got the scoop on how it’s going:
Sales: Just as any new business, The Lancer Locker had been slow in the beginning, but as it got bigger and publicized throughout the school, sales went up. Before holiday break, the store was bringing in $100.00 in merch daily.
New products: The Lancer Locker is constantly adding products to their store. Within the past month, the DECA and FBLA clubs introduced protein bars, energy drinks, and new apparel – including alumni shirts. They also always hint on more to come!
New hours: The Lancer Locker is open Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 2:15 & 3:15 p.m., and, since December, they have been from open 5 – 6 p.m. on Tuesdays as well.
New sales pitch: Do you have no time to shop or pick up? Tell a DECA or FBLA member working what you’d like, and they’ll shop and deliver it to you!
New payment methods: Don’t carry cash? No problem! There is now the option of paying with debit/credit cards (perfect for large purchases such as apparel).
Congrats and thank you to our DECA and FBLA clubs for creating an amazing Lancer staple.
