Sera Lisa is Student of the Month for her work in the CORE Program.
Lisa was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Jamie Haftek-Shopshear, for her “great progress” throughout the year, as well as her “maturity and independence” at LRHS. Ms. Haftek-Shopshear shares that Lisa’s smile is infectious, and she is always smiling, even when working through hard tasks.
Lisa, who is a freshman, told the Ledger that she was both happy and surprised to recieve this award. She agrees that her hardwork and dedication are what led her here. Since starting at LRHS, her favorite subject is art.
Fun fact: Lisa loves anime and K-pop.
