Brand names, like GOAT, White Fox, Gucci, or Supreme, are common sights in the halls of Lakeland Regional High School. People wear these brands for a few reasons, Status, to show their personality and quality. These brands do come with a cost though – and it’s not cheap. Many questions – are they worth the price tag?
Although the answer to this question will vary depending on your own personal taste and budget, if you can afford a brand name and you want to afford a brand name, the answer is YES.
Let’s take the GOAT brand, for instance, one of my favorite brands. The brand itself is inspiring to wear due to its meaning. GOAT stands for ‘Greatest of All Time.’ The brand inspires hope in the wearer. My family personally finds wearing the brand GOAT hilarious as we all call each other g.o.a.t. anyway.
Also, although the cost of GOAT USA compared to other brands, like Gucci and even Supreme, is still expensive, it is still manageable. The cost of a sweatshirt or hoodies is around $65 and t-shirts are around $35. I find this price worth it as they use good fabrics and are well made. The OG Hooded Sweatshirt costs $65 and is made out of good quality materials: 60% cotton 40% polyester.

On that note, no one should go broke trying to wear these brands. In comparison, to GOAT, sweatshirts from Supreme, The G.O.A.T USA’s pricing for a hoodie is around $65 – $50 for one and T-Shirts are around $30 which is more affordable than Gucci and their prices are being $1,350 for a Printed cotton jersey sweatshirt
The price for G.O.A.T USA, Gucci, and other brand names are high, but if you can afford it, the meaning of wearing these brands, whether for status or something more personal, is your own personal preference. And for your own taste, if you like what the hoodies and other products from these brands are made of, then you’re likely to buy again.
