The Minnesota Timberwolves will win the NBA championship, beating out the remaining teams in the playoffs: Oklahoma City Thunder, Indina Pacers, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, and the Denver Nuggets.
The Timberwolves will be the victors because they have a rising star player in Anthony Edwards, who has been on an all time playoff run, absolutely destroying every team, paired with a defense that can practically shut down any team. That equation equals a super squad that can beat any team in the remaining playoffs.
Of course, there are teams that are contenders, but do not deserve to win the championship.
For one, the Knicks are giving credit to a guy who barely won them games but not to the guy carrying them in the playoffs. Their “star player” Jalen Brunson seems to be getting carried by Mikal Bridges, who single handedly won them two games this series and avoided getting eliminated.
Next, the Celtics are just lucky, and do not deserve victory. Although they won last year’s playoffs, this year, their “super team” is basically just two players that are both overrated.

The final team is the Denver Nuggets, and they are just playing lazy. With Nikola Jokic, a 7 foot fat center who is somehow one of the best players in the league even though he doesn’t care about basketball or even try. It is annoying to watch.
However, nobody is beating the Timberwolves. First off, according to ESPN, the team has the third highest defensive rating this season behind only the Thunder and Warriors, at least in the playoffs. They also have one of the best players in the league with Anthony Edwards who’s been averaging 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists. The team also has an amazing cast of players like Julius Randle and defensive lockdown Rudy Gobert. This all calls for a mixture that wins championships.
The NBA Playoffs are essentially a 16 team tournament to determine the best teams in the league. It is a four-round best of seven series and the seeds are based off of their record during the regular season. Every series win moves your team up until you’re either eliminated or make it to the finals. If you want to see what teams have been eliminated you can go to ESPN to check the current playoff bracket.
Not only will the Timberwolves win, they have been averaging better than almost every team, and have not had any trouble in any series so far. Their mixture of defense is just too good for any team to get past. Combine that with explosive players like Edwards, who is also an athletic freak, and you just can’t get a better team than this. It’s almost like they are cut out to win it.
The Timberwolves are a blend that can beat any team. Even if you can find a way to stop Anthony, you won’t be able to stop players like Randle and Jaden McDaniles or the mix of older players who know the game of basketball and can read the floor to guide the younger teammates.
