Junior Aaditya Patel, junior Taylor Severs, senior Emily Kebrdle, and senior Eva Bodnar-Whetstone are March Students of the Month for FBLA Club. All four of these Future Business Leaders of America advanced to the National Leadership Conference after competing at states in early March.
Patel is the only member able to attend Nationals, which will take place in Anaheim, California at the end of June.
All of these business leaders mentioned the excitement in receiving this award. Besides their advancement in the competition, when asked about why they thought they received Student of the Month, Bodnar-Whetstone, Kebrdle, and Patel all cited their hard work and dedication in FBLA. On her success, Severs cited the support of her teammates and the club advisor, Ms. Tammy Ozdemir.
When asked what their favorite part of FBLA was, every student had a unique answer. Bodnar-Whetstone liked the uplifting communication found in FBLA, Kebrdle was interested in the networking aspects of the organization, while Patel and Severs liked the travel and competition aspects.
