Spring break is meant to be a good time and a little break from school to let you get out, have fun, and breathe for a week. If you are wondering what to do with all your free time, the Lancer Ledger has you covered:
Bowling
Bowling with friends is a great and nostalgic option that runs between $30.00 to $70.00, depending on how long you want to bowl and the amount of people. Bowling places you could go to would be Holiday Bowl, T-Bowl Lanes, Bowlero Fair Lawn, and Humdingers.
Holiday Bowl is located in Oakland, and is the closest of the lanes to Lakeland. Not only do they offer bowling, but they also have an arcade to play and food to order. The cost for weekdays is less, at $35.00 per lane per hour, while weekends is $60.00 per lane per hour.
Sleepover and Dinner
Having sleepovers with friends is always fun (and free). Consider playing some games or even cracking some jokes. And no sleepover is complete without food.
Consider going out or ordering take out from some great local eateries. Going out to dinner with friends around the area will cost anywhere from $25.00 to $100.00, depending on the food and the amount of people. Some dinner places you could go to are the local Lakeside Diner, Skyline Luncheonette, Artemios Prime and Proper, or Sam’s Bar and Grill.
Lakeside diner has amazing pancakes for only $8.99 and they are amazing!
Golfing

Golfing is another great option, which could be anywhere from $40.00 to $62.00, depending on how long you golf. Golf places you could go to would be Top Golf, Willowbrook Golf Center, Sunset Valley Golf Course, and Preakness Valley Golf Course. But if you decide to go and just chill with your friends who are playing, don’t worry – it’s free!
Want to Save Money?
If you aren’t interested in spending money, you could do at home activities with friends too. You can ride bikes, hangout with friends, play a sport you like to play at home, or you can even tell some jokes and make your friends laugh. All these options are great and free!
