Emily Grubbs is a February Student of the Month for business.
She was nominated by the department as whole for her dedication in the range of classes she has taken, including: Business Management, Marketing, Computer Apps, and Personal Finance. The department also praised Grubb for being so involved in the school community during her time at LRHS.
Grubbs, senior, told the Ledger that she is happy that she received this award and believes it was her hard work, good grades. She plans on majoring in business in college and feels like her time in LRHS’ business classes helped prepare her.
Fun Fact: Grubbs is starting her own business!
