Graduation is in the air for the Class of 2025. The class sat for the Senior Meeting at the end of February, where they learned information on all upcoming events, including prom and the graduation ceremony.
Good Standing
First, being a student in good standing at Lakeland is really important. This means that a student has at least a 2.0 GPA, has zero disciplinary points, does not have excessive absences, and has no fines to their name. Students who are not in good standing can not attend the exciting senior events.
Prom
The senior prom will be at The Legacy Castle on May 20, 2025. Students and guests, if they are from LRHS, need to be in good standing, receive a prom bid, and fill out the Prom Packet, which can be found in the main office. If you and your Lakeland guest are not in good standing then you will not be able to attend due to it being a privilege.Any student who is not approved to go will receive reasons why.
Graduation
Lakeland’s graduation ceremony is Wednesday, June 18 at 6:45 p.m. , with gates/doors opening at 5:30 p.m. If it’s outdoor or indoor will be determined around 3:00 p.m. on that day. Students will be provided 4 tickets for an outdoor ceremony, and 3 for an indoor. Diplomas will be provided after the ceremony.
