Every season there is a new fashion trend. It doesn’t matter if you have a comfortable style, Y2K style, or a preppy style, something is always trending. Throughout the years, fashion has evolved; there is always something new to be obsessed over on social media, and this season is no different. Regardless of what style you wear, there is something for everyone as this spring season will have many new hot trends to follow.
This spring season there has been much talk of future trends and new obsessions. For example, for this upcoming season there has been talk of the 2025 fashion-spring season being an iconic one.
Linen Pants

If you have a more comfortable style there has been talk of linen pants trending again as they were very popular last spring season. Blog post “2025 Spring Trends I Plan on Wearing” says, “The fisherman aesthetic is really just about easy, relaxed pieces like cozy sweaters and breezy linen pants.” This shows that while you’re at the ocean or out for a good time on the town, you can have a comfortable, casual, and cute style.
Polka Dots

Many also have been talking about polka dots making a comeback as they were popular in the early 2000’s. In the fashion blog, “My Favorite Spring Trends” by Cyndi Spivey, it says, “Polka dots are making a big comeback in Spring 2025 fashion, adding a playful yet sophisticated touch to various outfits.” Many are thinking about styling it with oversized prints and on dresses. Regardless of how you style them, polka dots are predicted to be one of the biggest trends yet to come this spring season.
Y2K Style: Low-Rise Jeans

Every single fashion season there is always something that has a comeback. Lately, the Y2K style trend the past few season’s along with its low-rise jeans. Low-rise jeans were very popular in the 2000s, with people usually styling them with peplum tops. There are also different types of low-rise jeans like flares, bootcut, and embroidered.
Top Fashion Trends For Spring 2024 by NYLON says, “Low-rise jeans were typically worn right at the hip. It was also common to style them with a jeweled belt or some bedazzled stickers on the exposed hip.” The styling for low-rise jeans haven’t changed much as many are still following this trend. But now many are styling this more comfortably. In an article “Looking Forward: Spring Trends” by Nordstrom, it says these jeans pair “well with all sorts of tops, including fitted tees, button-downs and tunics.” This shows that this spring season you can dress more comfortably as you follow trends while being stylish.
Pastel Color Trends

Every year there is always a new color scheme that people wear. Lately people have been wearing darker colors such as grey, black, and white. But this spring there will be a change as pastel colors are set to trend once again. Many people like the light and fun colors, but many are surprised to see it trending on the runway. WhoWhatWear says that “This season, of course, powder pink has taken that title—not only the most dominant pastel color from the spring 2025 runways but also the biggest color trend from the season overall.” Powder pink is set to be one of the most used pastel colors this season as its many peoples favorites. If powder pink is not the color for you, WhoWhatWear also says, “We expect to see more color overall, including shades such as mint green, tangerine, robin’s-egg blue, and butter yellow.” Many predict that these colors may be the most popular fashion trend in 2025 beating the popular cheetah print that has been trending for the past few seasons.
Even if these styles listed above aren’t for you we can all agree that in the fashion world there is always something for someone, and styles are always set to make a comeback.
