Angela Becker is December’s Student of the Month for English.
Nominated by her English teacher, Ms. Laura Fucilli, she shares, “[Becker’s] writing is very powerful and speaks volumes about her literary knowledge.” Ms. Fucilli also states, “From the start, she stood out to me with her thoughtful explanations and discussion points.”
Becker is a freshman and upon getting her award she tells the Ledger how she is happy that her hard work paid. She says that her favorite part of English is the fun activities and analysis planned by her teacher. Becker says that English is her strongest subject.
Fun fact about Becker: She likes reading a lot and to go bowling.
