Julia Pucciariello is November Student of the Month for instrumental music.
Nominated by her band teacher, Mr. Matthew Testa, he writes that Pucciariello is said to be a leader when it comes to “stepping up and taking over the pit percussion section of our marching band this year and led them to contributing to our first place finish at West Milford and our huge increase in placement at states.”
On receiving this award, Pucciariello told the Ledger she is “shocked and surprised.” She let us know her favorite part about the band is all the fun memories she has made. She feels her dedication to her music is what led her to earning this honor.
Fun fact: Pucciariello loves cats!
