Chloe Crafton, LRHS senior, has earned the October Student of the Month award for her amazing work in Art 2 and Digital Photography 1.
Ms. Kory Mellon, the art teacher who nominated Crafton, praised her on her dedication to her art, writing, “Her creativity is by far some of the best I have seen and [she] always tries to go above and beyond to improve her skills.”
Crafton told the Lancer Ledger, “I put a lot of effort into my art, and I am very passionate.” She shared that she felt a range of emotions about being nominated for this award, from confused to surprised to pride.
Crafton really enjoys art and hopes to continue to learn even more styles to broaden her artistic ability.
