Evan Connor, junior, received the honor of September Student of the Month for his work in Honors Physics II.
Teacher Mr. Giorgi Tchubabria, called Mr. T. by his students, nominated Connor, praising him for setting the tone and pace in the class and “having a strong analytical work ethic.” Mr. Tchubabria continued, writing, “If there was a table of intellectual elites (seated by former and current top students), Evan would be offered a seat.”
Connor shared with the Ledger that he felt Mr. T. “recognizes that I’ve been helping other people in the class.” Connor enjoys Mr. Tchubabria’s class, where he says students are able to work in groups and discover answers together.
Fun facts about Connor: he has a dog named Moxy, and he likes to kayak.
