Victoria Sabatelli, senior at LRHS, is LRHS’ April Student of the Month for English. Nominated by English teacher, Mr. Eric White, he called Sabatelli “a deft and logical writer” who is “brimming with character.” Praising her leadership in group discussions and fluency in writing, Mr. White declares that Sabatelli has earned this recognition many times over. To add icing to the cake, Mr. White shared that Sabatelli’s research paper was one of the best he has read in his career.
Sabatelli shared she was very surprised and grateful for the honor, and that her favorite part of English is the independent reading assignment, where students get to pick their own books and talk to peers to gain more understanding of the material. Next year, she is off to Clemson University where she was offered a four-year scholarship and is a part of their Army ROTC program.
