Sophomore Jesse Freedman is LRHS’ April Student of the Month for English. English teacher Ms. Jamie Cawley nominated Freedman not only for his outstanding grades, but also for being a “major contributor” by contributing unique insights that show critical thinking and interest in the content. Ms. Cawley also shared, “[Jesse] throws himself into his schoolwork with a fervor that is unmatched… I love Jesse’s attitude toward school and toward life. It seems, to him, not a burden, but a pleasure and a privilege to be engaged in his academic endeavors.”
Freedman shares that he enjoys excelling in school and “making connections games to play with the class.” Outside of the classroom, he runs track and says, “I like to run fast.”
