Senior Dylan Ploenes is Lakeland’s March Student of the Month for Math. Nominated by his math teacher, Ms. Jamie Haftek-Shopshear, Ploenes received this honor because he always has a positive attitude and has worked very hard to focus on goals and achieve them. Ms. Haftek-Shopshear is excited to see where the future takes Dylan!
Ploenes told the Ledger that he was not expected to get this award, and credits being a hard worker in math for the recognition.
