L.A.S.O stands for the Latin American Student Organization. This club is dedicated to the appreciation of Latin culture and improving cultural communication between students, staff, faculty, and the community.
The club holds two meetings per month where they do community service tasks, fundraisers and celebratory events. When asked what he liked about the club, sophomore Sebastian Rodriguez said, “It is inclusive to everyone, and we get to eat and give out great Spanish food.”
Advisor Estela Diaz gives more information about the club: “Students should join because they can belong, get involved in the school, and make new friends. We have fun activities like bowling, ice skating, visiting Latin restaurants and are very kid oriented.”
